Care Packs For Those In Need
Our care packs are distributed to organizations serving grieving children, teens and their families. The family packs include age appropriate books, activities and supplies to help with processing grief and emotions. The packs can be used by families without additional support, but can also be combined with other counseling and support services provided by the organization.
Each pack comes with a guide to help the caring adult better understand grief and how to use the books and activities with their child. We hope the packs provide a way for caregivers and children to talk about what they are feeling in helpful and hopeful ways. Ultimately, we want to support children and teens as they grieve and learn to integrate the loss into their lives in healthy ways. We hope the packs and care guide will be a blessing to families that might otherwise not have support as they process their loss and begin healing.
Care Packs are available to organizations in Central and Eastern Missouri that serve grieving children, teens and their families from a death of a parent, caregiver, sibling, or grandparent. Care Packs are limited to 5 per organization unless special arrangements have been made.
Our packs are not intended to substitute for counseling or medical care. If you are concerned about a child, please contact the appropriate professionals.
